Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: 14 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use Sadir: the businesses that run it, and the clients who upload documents and sign through it. We design and test the website and the service to meet the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0, level AA), as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. We aim to follow WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What we’ve done

  • Full keyboard operation, a visible focus indicator, and a “skip to content” link on every page.
  • Semantic structure, labelled form fields and buttons, and status announcements for screen readers.
  • Text and interface colors chosen for sufficient contrast, in both light and dark themes.
  • Full right-to-left support in Hebrew and left-to-right in English, with the language set correctly on every page.
  • Layouts that adapt to small screens and to text enlarged up to 200%.
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting.
  • For signing, a typed signature is always available as an alternative to drawing.

Known limitations

  • Documents that businesses upload, such as scanned PDFs, may not be accessible. Their content is the responsibility of the business that sent them.
  • Placing signature fields on a PDF is a visual task. We provide keyboard controls for moving and resizing fields, but some users may need help with it.
